The Mountain Trike e-Kit is an electric power assist kit that can be fitted to the Mountain Trike MT5 or Mountain Trike MT Push, providing additional power when needed to help navigate uneven terrain or steeper inclines.

An easy-to-use twist grip or thumb lever throttle control allows the rider or attendant to select the power level required — allowing for fully powered travel, or hybrid travel where the rider uses the drive levers assisted by the electric motor.

FULL POWER OR HYBRID ASSIST

The e-Kit’s 250W motor enables it to provide fully powered travel, or hybrid travel by pushing the Mountain Trike’s drive levers and the throttle simultaneously. Also, with the e-Kit in place, riders can still choose to manually propel their trike using the lever system — giving maximum flexibility on how they decide to tackle different types of terrain.

LCD DISPLAY

The e-Kit features a multi-function LCD display which can be mounted at various points on a wheelchair for easy visibility. The display shows throttle level, current time, speed and distance travelled in a single view, meaning there’s no need to switch between different screens.

EASY INSTALLATION

Installing the Mountain Trike e-Kit can be done with standard household tools such as an Allen key and ratchet set, and should take around 15 to 20 minutes. The compact size of the e-Kit, including all components, allows for convenient storage when not in use.
